Corporations and organisations often seek someone from outside their system (a Consultant or Trainer) to confer and deliberate with them in order to explore new perspectives, encourage decision-making or to generate options.
I have been involved in consulting with individuals, organisations and corporations on case discussions, agency goals and personal objectives, primarily via a problem-solving process and appreciative inquiry model, to positively impact people and systems. For those who are particularly interested in an individual process to facilitate growth and improvement, I developed a process and resource called a Personal and Professional Progress Plan (P4) that supports and challenges people to attain a range of desired goals.
I regularly provide workshops, training and specialised lectures to the general public (e.g., parents, students), professionals (i.e., Nurses, Psychologists, Educators, Lawyers, Accountants, Financial Planners, Sales staff) and agencies (e.g., addictions, counselling, hospitals, community, education, corrections, defence, employment, mental health, government, church) on a range of topics.
I don’t have set workshops or speeches as each presentation is customised to the setting and audience, and all talks are educational, inspirational, humorous, practical, personal and interactive. The general areas include broad categories of: work-life balance, emotional intelligence, relationships, self-esteem, positive psychology, happiness, assertiveness, dealing with difficult people, communication, helping skills and counselling interventions, organisational change, workplace conflict, the development of professionals, loss and grief, supervision, resilience, values-focused selling and stress-management. |
